This was a simple, yet fun one to direct. Gimm + Icky, is a newly formed independent pop-rock act distributed by Warner Music. We were limited with time and budget on this one but I’m very happy with the way it turned out. Thanks to all that made it happen!

Backyard Burger Spots

I recently shot a series of regional spots for Backyard Burger, a gourmet fastfood restaurant throughout the southeastern USA. The shoot consisted of two 15 second and one 30 second spots showcasing their latest spicy chicken and fish filet sandwiches.

A few months ago, I had the privilege of Directing a video for Nashville based independent artist Helene Michele. I finally got along to posting about it! We collaborated on the concept for several weeks leading up to the shoot and finally shot the thing in Nashville over the course of two days. The best part of the shoot, in my opinion, was a collaboration with Kansas City based dance group- Quixotic fusion. Quixotic performs a show consisting of acrobatics, dance and music and have traveled the world. The closest thing I can compare it to is Cirque du Soleil. The group’s participation in the video involved choreographing, dancing, as well as aerial stunts and ultimately upped our production value!

Saw the Great Gatsby a second time tonight- totally worth it. Incredibly well done!
